Year 9 Trip to Paris

By Miss Wooltorton,
PE Teacher and Head of Year 10 & Year 11
Having worked very hard on their end of year exams, 51 Year 9 pupils spent 3 days exploring the sites of Paris.
An early start of 12:30am on Wednesday morning allowed them time to explore the Eiffel Tower, a River Cruise down the Seine, a walk up the Champs-Elysees before eating a traditional French dinner overlooking the Arc de Triomphe.
Arriving at our hotel, it was straight to bed to recover before our day in Disney. In the words of Bambi a delayed version of โAprilโ showers descended on us on Thursday but that did not dampen Year 9 spirits who enjoyed a day of Disney treats, rides and an amazing firework display to end the day.
A final day spent exploring the Montparnasse Tower and the Sacre Coeur area visiting the local artists of Montmarte rounded off a delightful trip. It must be mentioned that Year 9 were a delight to take away, embracing every opportunity and showing gratitude throughout the trip.
Thank you to Mrs Stewart, Mr Wright, Miss Bagley and Mrs Clyne for supporting the trip.
