EYFS Learning Support Assistant (Prep School)
Salary: Competitive renumeration, based on skills, knowledge and experience
Hours:Â 36 hours per week, 34 weeks per year (term time plus 4 INSET days)
Working Pattern: Monday – Wednesday: 08:15 – 16:30, Thursday: 08:15 – 16:25 and Friday: 08:15 – 15:30
Contract: Permanent
Required: September 2026
To support our growing pupil numbers in Nursery and Reception we are currently seeking to appoint an EYFS Learning Support Assistant with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
The role will be varied, and no two days are the same. Our younger pupils enjoy a wealth of opportunities, including weekly swimming lessons, Forest School, specialist teaching in French and Spanish, PE, swimming, music and dance plus the benefits of a stunning 87-acre setting.
You will be a personable, patient, warm and kind individual who can engender the trust of both children and adults alike, and you will be able to build on these early relationships to meet the developmental needs of all the children in your care. You will be an energetic, creative person, able to respond dynamically to the needs of children and you will be enthusiastic in your ability and desire to provide a rich and changing learning environment according to the interests of the children.
Ideal applicants would have a clear passion for shaping the future of our younger pupils, an ability to work effectively in a team, the drive to offer an exceptional experience, and a sense of humour and fun.
