Boarding at The Dairy
A home away from home.
The Dairy House dates back to 1870 but has been completely refurbished and modernised for today’s discerning boarding pupil. The boarding house is small, friendly and offers comfortable and homely living quarters on the school’s stunning campus in Woolverstone, Suffolk.
Boarders at the Dairy House live in an idyllic and safe setting but are still very well connected to social opportunities in the nearby Suffolk town of Ipswich which is just five miles from the school. Equally, they can enjoy exploring the rest of the UK and the school is just one hour away from central London and an hour away from Cambridge.
The Dairy offers a range of rooms for pupils including twins, singles and ensuites. It has been completely renovated and will offer brand new accommodation from September 2019. The boarding house has Wi-Fi and boarders are able to use the school’s numerous facilities including the swimming pool and fitness suite in their free time.

The Boarding Experience
We care deeply about the welfare and happiness of our boarding pupils and put them at the very heart of everything we do.
The school’s deeply embedded culture of pastoral care extends and goes further for our boarding pupils; and our full-time live in staff are on hand for every individual who lives there. We foster a supportive and nurturing community in our boarding house where pupils encourage one another and build solid friendships.
As well as our incredible Enrichment Programme which is offered throughout the school week to all of our pupils, we provide exciting weekend activities, events and opportunities for boarding pupils.
