Enrichment Programme
At Ipswich High School we offer a wealth of diverse and engaging enrichment activities to our pupils at every stage of their education. From academic enrichment activities, to sport and arts clubs, our enrichment activities promote fun, teamwork and a commitment to learning and self-improvement.
Every academic term over 170 enrichment activities take place at the school.
Prep School Enrichment
Our pupils in Years 1 to 3 can choose from the available programme and these selections are unlimited. Years 4 to 6 choose a minimum of two or three lunchtime enrichment activities per week, and an enrichment activity for every end of day, except Friday when school ends early.
Senior School Enrichment
In the majority of cases, pupils will choose an activity for one term. Pupils in Year 9 and above are encouraged to build their leadership experience through volunteering with a Prep School activity. They can choose one long enrichment activity in which they can assist with the Prep School enrichment programme.
Sixth Form Enrichment
We offer over 80 different enrichment activities for Sixth Form students with the same timetable as Senior School Enrichment. Sixth Formers are encouraged to get involved with enrichment activities in the Prep School to become mentors to younger pupils and gain vital leadership skills.
