Saturday Morning Market at St Michael’s Church
The Saturday Market is held on the second Saturday every month. The market includes End Butchers, local fruit and vegetables from Tattingstone and specialist artisan breads from Anchor Bakery. Plus:
- Crafts: Jewellery, glass, wood, cards, furniture, knitting, crochet, cards and quilting.
- Food: Cakes, sausage rolls, bread, fruit, veg, eggs, jams, chutneys, pastries, and cheeses.
- Plants: Shrubs, trees and bird food.
- Antiques and Art work
Specialist Bread Educator, Sue Hudson of Bread Workshops will be taking over the Food Tech kitchens at Woolverstone Hall for an afternoon of bread making.
10th June 2018 – 1 – 4 p.m: Want to make real bread at home? This workshop will be just what you want with hands-on experience, mixing and working dough and you will leave with three different creations and the confidence to continue baking bread. You will make a selection of breads such as seeded boule, some focaccia and breakfast muffins or breadsticks. Sue will demonstrate how to make something delicious to share with tea during the afternoon. Bring your apron and a large box/basket for hot breads, Sue supplies everything needed as well as the recipe sheets. Cost: £70 Venue: Woolverstone Hall IP9 1AZ

Jazz and Picnic at Woolverstone Hall
Friends of Woolverstone are delighted that Joanna Eden and her Band have agreed to perform their Great Jazz Diva’s Concert at the Hayworth Theatre, Woolverstone Hall, on Sunday 10th June at 7pm. This concert has been put together especially for this evening. Music by Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday and many others. Joanna is well known to many of you already, from sell out concerts at all the major Jazz venues including the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Club in Soho, London.
The grounds will be open from 4.30pm and the Concert begins at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Mercury Theatre Colchester.
Suffolk Day at Woolverstone Hall
Woolverstone Hall is opening its doors on Suffolk Day, Thursday 21st June, from 1:30 to 4pm.
Visitors will have the chance to have a guided tour of the beautiful 18th Century Woolverstone Hall, have cream tea on our grounds and play classic lawn games such as croquet and giant chess.
IHSA Summer Fete
All are welcome at the IHSA Summer Fete on Saturday 23rd June 2018, starting at 12pm. The IHSA Summer Fete at Ipswich High School is always a hugely popular and great family fun day out with food, games, activities and entertainment performances from our talented pupils at the school. Bring friends and relations to relax in the beautiful grounds of Woolverstone Hall.

Canterbury Cathedral Choristers Present a Concert Directed by Dr David Flood
Cathedral Organist and Master of the Choristers at St Michael’s Church, Woolverstone at 7pm Wednesday 27 June 2018. Tickets cost £12.50 including summer refreshments. Annual Art Exhibition
Ipswich High School’s annual art exhibition on Thursday 28th June is a fantastic showcase of our pupils’ talent and hard work, featuring art from both GCSE and A Level pupils. The exhibition opens at 6pm in the evening.
Ipswich High School Concert at The Apex
Ipswich High School is proud to present a concert celebrating 25 years at its current site, the magnificent Woolverstone Hall.
The concert will feature a musical representation of every department in the school.

Peninsula Craft Weekend
At the Woolverstone Peninsula Craft Weekend from Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th October 2018 a wide range of original art and craft items will be on show and for sale. Free parking and light refreshments will be available
IHSA Christmas Fayre
This year’s IHSA Christmas Fayre will be held on Friday 7th December, from 12pm to 3:30pm.
The IHSA Christmas Fayre in the Sports Hall is a fun afternoon for all ages. There will be many craft stalls to buy gifts from, games, carol singing and even Father Christmas’ grotto.
