Year 6 Windows to Learning Session

Our Year 6 pupils once again impressed us with their enthusiasm, confidence, and growing independence.
Parents and grandparents joined us for our ‘Window to Learning’ session, where families were invited into school to celebrate and share the children’s learning from across the curriculum this term.
A particular highlight was the Year 6 Business Enterprise Showcase, during which our young entrepreneurs presented their business plans and products with great confidence and professionalism. The pupils demonstrated excellent business acumen as they carefully considered their target audience, pricing, profit margins, and the ethical use of sustainable materials. Some businesses even took the opportunity to secure pre-orders ahead of their first official sale to the wider school community.
One parent commented, “I was genuinely impressed with all the children’s stalls. They were so excited and proud to show off what they were selling and rightly so. They have all obviously worked very hard.”
We were delighted to see the children launch their products and begin raising funds for their chosen charities once loans and initial expenditure had been repaid. Perhaps we may even have witnessed some future stars of Dragons’ Den or The Apprentice in the making.
