Wellbeing Week at Ipswich High School

Pupils across the whole school enjoyed the wide range of activities that took place during Wellbeing Week, with opportunities designed to support positive mental health, encourage connection, and provide moments of fun and reflection throughout the school community.
Within our Wellbeing Wednesday enrichment, pupils participated in a creative pebble painting activity with a wellbeing theme. The finished pebbles were then placed outside the LRC, providing
colourful and thoughtful display for pupils as they entered the Library.
The week also featured a Random Acts of Kindness challenge, encouraging pupils to spread positivity throughout the school community.
One of the highlights of Wellbeing Week was a visit from alpacas along with a lovely goat who was convinced that she was a dog (!) which brought great excitement amongst the pupils. Another beloved pet, Mabel the school dog, enjoyed plenty of wellbeing moments as she received much-loved cuddles from pupils.
Wellbeing walks proved particularly popular with both Prep and Senior School pupils, offering valuable opportunities to get outside, connect with others, and take a break from the school day.
