Exam Invigilator
Exam Invigilator
ย Hours: Variable hours as required during the exams period
Salary: ยฃ12.21 per hour plus holiday pay approximately ยฃ1.47 per hour

ย We are seeking to appoint new staff to join our dedicated and hardworking Exams team.
The team is responsible for setting up and running all internal and external exams in line with national guidelines. This includes preparing exam rooms, distributing papers, supervising students during exams, and ensuring a calm, secure environment. Youโll be supported by experienced staff and work closely with other invigilators to make sure every exam runs smoothly and fairly.
The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, able to use their own initiative and abide by necessary examination regulations. In addition, you will need to be reliable, punctual, professional, approachable and flexible with your availability during the busy exam periods.
No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided

As part of a new innovative partnership with Brave Generation Academy (BGA) we are looking to appoint a Learning Coach. The role of Learning Coach plays an integral role in guiding and supporting Learners on their educational journey. The role is more than just a mentor; theyโre inspirers, motivators, and champions of self-discovery. With personalised weekly meetings, you will help Learners unearth their passions, set meaningful goals, and equip them with essential self-management tools for success.
BGA Hubs are co-learning spaces located across the world. Learners attend up to four days a week for five hours per day, where they can work independently or collaborate with others in a supportive environment.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and have the highest expectations for yourself and others. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team. You will be joining a team of highly skilled and committed professionals both at Ipswich High School and BGA, who are relentless in the pursuit of shaping the educational experience and personal growth of children and teenagers.

Design Technician

We are seeking to appoint a part time Design Technician to work across our Design & Technology department.
The successful applicant will have excellent making skills, ability to use a range of materials and preferably be from a creative background. Experience of a school environment is desirable but not essential. We offer a generous staff benefits package.
We are looking for someone who can use digital systems proficiently from Word, OneNote and Excel, to learning ordering systems and CAD software once on the job. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job and be confident on machinery for preparing materials as well as being happy to work with students in the classroom environment.

We are seeking to appoint new staff to join our dedicated and hardworking cleaning team.
As part of our cleaning team, you will maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of our school and boarding house. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage however not essential, as training will be provided to successful candidates. You should have good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, be a team player and have the ability to work with limited supervision.
Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, toilet cleaning and other tasks as required. Use of machinery may be required to complete some tasks for example, floor cleaning machinery.

Learning Support Assistant – Senior School
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils and staff in our school. Whilst we are ideally looking for someone with experience in this type of role, for an exceptional candidate without significant experience, we would still encourage you to apply.
Applicants must be competent and confident in supporting pupils up to at least GCSE level. Experience of or an understanding of how best to support pupils with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, autism, and speech and language difficulties is desirable. Knowledge of supporting pupils in mathematics and the sciences would be particularly advantageous.

Cover Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible After School Club Supervisor to help support pupils after school. You will be part of a dedicated team; duties will include playing a complementary and supporting role for Prep aged pupils in the afterschool wraparound provision. You will work in a small team to establish and support a home-from-home environment, enabling games and imaginative play, arts and crafts and supporting pupils with their learning and homework where appropriate. Flexibility and a sense of humour is vital.
