The Ipswich High School Winter Concert

This year’s Winter Concert featured a broad programme that highlighted the range of music performed across the school.
The event opened with a full-company performance of O Fortuna, followed by Stringendo’s interpretation of The Legend of Deadman’s Cove.
Years 3 and 4 performed Oh Mister Santa, while Years 5 and 6 presented Santa’s Coming for Us. Nova Vox sang Believe, and the Years 3–6 Choir performed Jingle All the Ways.
The Year 10 Band provided a contrast with Smells Like Teen Spirit. The second half included Cover Me in Sunshine from Piccolos and Fame performed by Voices of Tomorrow. KOR! presented Sound of Silence and Bluebird, and the Senior Choir performed music from The Greatest Showman.

Year 7 added Sparklejollytwinklejingley before the Orchestra closed the programme with Ghostbusters. The concert reflected the variety of musical opportunities available to pupils at Ipswich High School. Thank you to the whole IHS community for your continued support.
