U14 County Hockey Champions

The U14 hockey squad travelled to Culford last week to compete in the County Hockey Tournament, showing impressive teamwork and skill despite being newly formed and transitioning to 11-a-side play.

Under the leadership of captain Georgia, they played with determination, starting with a hard-fought 0-1 loss to RHS. However, the team quickly found their rhythm, securing a 3-0 win against Woodbridge, followed by a commanding 4-0 victory over Finborough, and a 1-0 win against Culford.

Lara was on fire with 4 goals, Sophie added 2, while Willow and Annabel each contributed 1 goal to the team’s success. Their efforts culminated in being crowned overall champions of the tournament. Now, the squad sets its sights on preparing for the Regional Finals in December.
