Prep Young Voices at the O2

On Wednesday 5th February, 36 singers from Years 4, 5 and 6 joined together with thousands of other children from around the UK to perform at the O2 as part of Young Voices: The largest childrenโ€™s choir in the world!
The students had been busy learning 12 items ranging from the classic โ€˜Birdhouse in Your Soulโ€™ to โ€˜Marley Magicโ€™ (a mash-up of classic Bob Marley songs to celebrate what would have been his 80th birthday), to medleys from โ€˜Hairsprayโ€™ and current pop hits!
We sang along with talented famous faces including Tommy Blaize, lead singer from Strictly Come Dancing, ex-teacher turned rapper MC Grammar as well as well as Souparnika Nair, who gained recognition as a 10-year-old on Britainโ€™s Got Talent. Alongside the incredible singers, we also enjoyed dance performances from the Urban Strides dance group โ€“ who even managed to get the parents all up and dancing!
The whole experience of performing live to a packed O2 was incredible!
