Located within our beautiful 87-acre campus, our Prep School is a remarkable place for your child to start their educational journey.
With kindness at the heart of our ethos, our small classes of enthusiastic pupils and inspirational teachers result in a love of learning, happy pupils and outstanding academic progress. In our Prep School, we educate pupils from Reception to Year 6, crucial years in the lives of our children. We strive to support the curiosity of learning and to make pupils’ first steps into education an inspiring and purposeful experience, equipping them for their future, whatever they choose to do.

We do this by providing them with the widest possible range of experiences both inside and outside of the classroom, to broaden their minds and create new opportunities for every pupil to thrive.
An Incredible Curriculum
As well as an exciting curriculum and specialist teaching from Reception to Year 6, our pupils have a full and exhilarating programme of daily enrichment activities, taking their learning beyond the classroom. Our location, surroundings and first-class facilities provide an unrivalled learning environment, and we make use of our environment every day, with weekly swimming lessons in our on-site swimming pool, as well as Forest School.
Prep Timetable
Life in Prep School
Our Prep School pupils start their day at 8:35am for registration and the day ends at 4:20pm. School ends at 3:30pm on Friday. We offer Wraparound Care before and after school from 7:30am to 6pm every Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 5pm on Fridays. At the end of the school day, pupils who travel on the school coaches are accompanied to their respective coaches by the staff on duty while others are collected from the Prep School.

Pastoral Care
Prep School pupils are given opportunities to develop as resilient, independent learners, as well as happy and healthy children. To enable and encourage children to grow, our Prep School staff are well-informed and are always mindful of individual abilities and characters.
Our carefully coordinated pastoral curriculum supports pupils in becoming attentive, open-minded, inquisitive, respectful, polite and driven, and includes exploring British values, relationships, health and wellbeing and looking out to the wider world.
