ISA Regional Athletics

Our next mixed Athletics event took part on Thursday 15th May in Cambridge. The competition was tougher this year as we could only have one competitor per event.
We had lots of amazing performances and results on the day, including some pupils achieving new PBs.
For some of our pupils this was their first time in competing and representing the school and there were some excellent results.

Some of the highlights were:
– Poppy B – 2nd in the 200m
– Rheya- 3rd in the high jump.
– Ale – 3rd in Long Jump
– William – 3rd in 800m
– Isla- 2nd in Shot Putt
– Lara- 1st Hurdles and 2nd High jump
– Gianluca- 3rd in Long Jump
– Manjur- 1st Triple Jump & 3rd in 200m
– Anna- 3rd in 1500m.
Anna also competed in the 800m in the afternoon and finished 4th!

There were lots of athletes who competed in relay teams and won their heat but overall came fourth with time which was a brilliant achievement!
