Hugo and Carter Sporting Success

Hugo enjoyed a brilliant day of sporting success on Sunday. In the morning, he captained his team in their first ever cup final at Burnham Stadium, where they finished as proud runners-up.

Later that afternoon, Hugo competed at the Halstead Open Meet in Braintree, achieving excellent results in his age category:

Gold in the 100m Freestyle (with a new personal best time)
Silver in the 50m Freestyle,
Bronze in the 50m Breaststroke with a new personal best time.

A huge well done to Hugo on an outstanding day of success across both football and swimming.

Carter enjoyed a fantastic day at the Halstead Open Meet, bringing home an impressive seven medals and achieving six personal bests.

Competing in his age category, Carter achieved:
Gold in the 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke and 100m Backstroke,
Silver in the 50m Breaststroke, and
Bronze in the 50m Freestyle. He also placed fourth in the 100m Freestyle and 100m Breaststroke.
