Ipswich High School is proud to announce we are now members of the Society of Heads. The Society of Heads was formed in 1961 and is a welcoming collegiate community of independent schools who evolve their approach to learning by sharing ideas and experiences. The overarching aim is to help provide appropriate and balanced curriculums within schools, which actively foster and develop key attributes in pupils. The marriage of traditional qualities with modern educational theory is the foundation for how the society is led. In the ever-changing landscape of todayโs society, schools have a duty to prepare its pupils for an uncertain future, by working collaboratively with other independent schools nationally we can ensure that Ipswich High School students have the best chance of thriving in tomorrowโs future.
Mr Dan Browning, Head, said: โI am delighted that we have been successful in our application to join the Society of Heads. This is excellent news for our school and allows us to work with like-minded, forward-looking schools from across the UKโ.
