Cadet World Championships for Amelia

It is with excitement and trepidation that Amelia heads off to Australia next week to take part in the Cadet World Championships in Melbourne. Boats are entered from Belgium, Poland, Germany, Australia and of course our team from the UK. The boats have arrived at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club and are waiting patiently to be unloaded on the

18th December. The pre-world Regatta starts on the 19th of December. The team have trained over several weekends at Shotley Sailing club as the waters on the Stour closely match the conditions that the sailors will experience in Prince Phillip Bay – hopefully it will be slightly warmer than it is here!
