Year 10 Design Trip to the British Museum

This September saw the Design department travel to London to visit the wonderful and diverse British Museum. We took nearly 50 students on the trip and had a brilliant time with the students exploring the museums and taking lots of photographs.
This will form part of the theme for their projects this year, and students will be taking inspiration from the vast array of artefacts and exhibits. Students will be using the shapes, forms, and pattern ideas to develop their own products. For the Year 10 students, this will be their extended projects, and for the Year 11 students, it will be potential resources for their upcoming exam in January. The next challenge will be planning where we go next September!
