Two years

The amazing reputation that it is built upon and the beautiful environment which it is set in.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT IHS?
Being part of the IHS family – everyone working in collaboration together and supporting each other; Working in partnership with our parents to inspire the pupils to reach their full potential and be the best version of themselves. Seeing happy children thrive in our beautiful grounds; being surrounded by 87 acres of classroom – its idyllic!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MEMORY FROM WORKING AT IHS?
Attending my First Prep Event – The Harvest Festival in the Hayworth Theatre – I was blown away by the children’s singing, performances and public speaking! They are a real credit to our school.

TELL US ABOUT A PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS STORY THAT YOU’RE PROUD OF.
When Mr Browning asked me to join the Senior Leadership Team – I felt incredibly proud and honoured to have been asked. I very much enjoy working with the other members of SLT to ensure continuity and consistency across the whole school for the benefit of all pupils aged from 3-18!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD AT IHS?
Seeing Year 6 building on the foundations they have learnt in the Prep School and flourishing as they enter Year 7 and progress through the Senior School. Plus, welcoming my new class as I prepare them for life in the Senior School.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I enjoy any outdoor pursuits, including horse riding and riding my bike. Swimming is another firm favourite too. I thoroughly enjoy spending time at the weekend with my husband Mike and two children, Amelie and Fynn. This normally entails watching Fynn play football and golf, and Amelie playing netball and hockey.

YOUR FAVOURITE SUBJECT AT SCHOOL:
I thoroughly enjoy teaching Maths.

WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS/MOVIES DO YOU ENJOY?
I enjoy reading and watching any adventure story or movie.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LUNCH AT IHS?
Roast dinner!
