The Bebras Computing Challenge
Over the middle two weeks of November, computing students from Years 7 to 10 took part in the Bebras Computing Challenge – a competition run in over 50 countries around the globe based on logical and computational thinking.
Our students were amongst 367,000 competitors across the UK, competing in Juniors (Year 7), Intermediate (Years 8 and 9) and Senior (Year 10). We are pleased to report that our results were ahead of the curve across each age range. Several students scored within the top 10% nationally and they are being invited to take part in the next challenge round, organised by the University of Oxford.
Some students have been very keen to receive their results and certificates will be handed out to all of those who took part over the next week.
