Teacher of Mathematics

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, passionate and dynamic classroom practitioner as Teacher of Mathematics.

The successful applicants will join a department which enjoys an outstanding reputation, helping pupils to achieve excellent GCSE and A-level results year-on-year.ย  Mathematics is also regularly amongst the most popular subject choices at A-Level.ย  We are seeking to appoint individuals who are excited by the opportunity to join this thriving department.

Due to the considerable experience and expertise within the department, the primary qualities sought are the ability to inspire and support pupils to enjoy and make excellent progress in Mathematics.ย  Prior experience of successfully teaching Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics at A-Level is desirable but not essential.

Cleaning Supervisor

Salary: Competitive renumeration, based on skills, knowledge and experience
Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year – split shift AM and PM

We are looking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning team.ย  You will have previous experience in managing others as well as understanding cleaning processes, with good administrative skills including stock ordering and management.ย  You will be responsible for allocating duties and monitoring standards of cleaning across the site, ensuring compliance with health and safety, including COSHH.

Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High Schoolย has 6 buildings plus Boarding House to maintain on a daily basis throughout the year.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has previous cleaning experience, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Is organised, reliable, and able to lead a team effectively
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards
  • Can work independently and use initiative
  • Has good communication skills

Peripatetic Singing Teacher

Required: September 2026

Ipswich High School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational singing teacher.ย  Potential applicants must be comfortable teaching a wide age range of students, including boys with changing and changed voices.ย  The school has a strong tradition of music and students often perform locally and nationally.

The Music Department is a happy, vibrant place to work, and the students are friendly and motivated. There is a supportive ethos in the school and vocal and instrumental teachers often run ensembles.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Lunchtime Supervisor

ย Hours: 10 hours per week, 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.ย  33.2 weeks per year, term time only

Salary: ยฃ4,939 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible Lunchtime Supervisor to join our wonderful team supporting the pupils during their lunch time. Duties will include support in the dining hall and supervision on the playground. An ability to engage and encourage pupils within playground games, with a flexible approach and sense of humour is vital.

You will have a calm and positive manner and will assist in promoting positive behaviour.
