The Ipswich High School team of cyclists taking on a 400 mile challenge from Venice to Rome in September were delighted to meet St Elizabeth Hospice mascot, Woolly the Sheep today!
The group of staff and students will be undertaking this exciting bike ride to raise money for the school’s chosen charity, St Elizabeth Hospice later this year, a charity which means so much to many throughout the school. The launch marks the start of the team’s rigorous training schedule which they hope will prepare them for the challenging journey ahead.
Ms Kaye Extance, Assistant-Head (Co-Curricular) commented “I am so proud of the efforts of our staff, pupils and parents who always come together to support our charities. The bike ride in Italy in the autumn will be a real highlight this year and I applaud the team of staff and students taking on this incredible challenge”
