Salary range: £18,950 – £23,907 pa, pro rata to £9,603 – £12,115 pa
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic laboratory technician to work primarily in the Biology department, as part of a hard working team. Candidates should be reliable, well-organised and have a working knowledge and interest in Science.
Previous technician experience is desirable as is a Science related degree, and A levels in at least one science subject is essential for those without a degree. The successful candidate will be required to provide a high level of technical assistance to teaching staff in the department in order for them to deliver the curriculum.
The working requirement is for 3 days a week during term-time + 14 days. Training such as first aid courses will be provided for the appropriate candidate.
