Director of Sport

Contract type: Full-time

Salary: The salary will be commensurate with the importance of the post and the experience and qualities of the successful candidate.

Ipswich High School is a leading independent school in Suffolk, proudly educating hundreds of pupils between the ages of 3 – 18. Based on a beautiful 84 acre campus, five miles outside of Ipswich, the school has long enjoyed a high profile across the region for its academic success and superb pastoral care.

The school is looking for an exceptional and experienced PE teacher who has some experience in a management role. The ideal candidate should be motivated to push forward the Ipswich High School Sport Vision and strategy ensuring that it is centred on inclusivity and achievement.

Strong communication, leadership and managements skills will be essential in this post as will determination to succeed in shaping the Department at this crucial stage in the school’s history.

Marketing and Communications Officer

Full time, 36 hours per week

Salary: £20,195-£24,146 depending on skills and experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the busy Marketing Department of one of Suffolk’s leading independent schools, Ipswich High School.

The postholder will work with the Director of Marketing and Communications in the effective delivery of the school’s marketing strategy. This is an incredibly varied role in which the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school’s social media output, maintaining the website and developing effective marketing content across a range of materials and channels.

The ideal candidate will have some marketing experience, in both digital and traditional marketing and an understanding of our brand and market. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and motivation, who is capable of prioritising a busy and varied workload.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail are crucial, as is the ability to create effective and professional in-house marketing collateral.
