Ipswich High School exists to provide an excellent all-round education for girls aged 3-18, giving them the skills, knowledge and understanding which will help them to become capable, confident, caring members of society, ready to play a full part in the fast-changing world. In the Junior School, we recognise and value the individuality of each girl, providing opportunities for her to develop her potential within a supportive and happy community. Both the academic and enrichment (extra-curricular) programme is made possible by our amazing 84 acre riverside campus, which offers facilities that are unique among Ipswich primary schools. We are a 'Forest School' meaning that we use our rural, woodland setting to inspire our girls via hands on learning experiences in a natural environment.

Our expansive campus allows the students to learn and explore in safe a controlled environment. These facilities are shared with the older student giving the members of the Junior School the opportunity to interact with the older girls in a way that unique among primary schools in Ipswich. Exposure to these positive role models from an early age assists us to bring out the best in every student.

As our Junior pupils move up into the Senior School in Year 7, it is clear to see how their education has helped them to achieve their potential, explore their interests and build confidence.
