The IHSA is the Parent Association of Ipswich High School. We have two aims: to foster a sense of community within the parent body through the organisation of social activities and secondly to support the school in a variety of areas.
The IHSA raised more than £12,000 last year, which was spent on things that wouldn't otherwise be provided for the girls. Over the past few years, the IHSA bought musical instruments and cameras for the Junior School, equipment for the PE department and items for the DT department. This year the committee have agreed to fund the installation of a new long jump pit, soft seating for the Junior School's SEN reading room,
The IHSA isn't just a small Committee of people, it is every parent, grandparent and teacher who helps fundraise for the school, whether you donate to the Second Hand Uniform Shop, run a stall at the Christmas Fayre or bake cakes for a sale. If you need to contact IHSA please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
